Lineman has multiple field crews that specialize exclusively in splicing and testing fiber optic systems. We access outside plant (OSP) fiber optic splice closures (FOSC’s) located in underground manholes and vaults, utilizing our fleet of bucket trucks, we are able to access closures located on overhead telecom lines. In addition to OSP splicing, we regularly perform inside plant splicing (ISP) which requires us to access buildings for new fiber services or modify and expand existing fiber networks. We provide fiber splicing and testing services to all major service providers in Canada, as well as local providers, municipalities, and private customers. Using an assortment of specialized trailers and truck-mounted work units, we have the equipment to access fiber-optic infrastructure anywhere that may be required.
