Hydrovac
- A non-destructive excavation method utilizing high pressure water to break up soil, and a vacuum system to remove the resulting slurry.
- Used to expose existing utilities in the construction zone to allow safe conduit installations, and field repairs on existing utilities.
- We have a Tandem Rival Hydrovac unit for large projects, and a trailer mounted Ditch Witch unit for smaller excavations.
- Having different equipment options allows us the flexibility to access difficult terrain such as uneven surfaces or tight spaces.
Trenching and Plowing Services
- Utilizing an assortment of mechanical excavation methods, we have the equipment to get the job done in an efficient and safe manner.
- Backhoes/Bobcats with an assortment of excavation attachments, Mini Excavators, Ditch Witch plow and trenching units for both rural and urban applications.
Directional Boring
- An efficient and less destructive method of conduit installation than open excavations.
- Primarily used for urban and residential applications.
- Commonly used to install new conduits under hard surfaces such as asphalt and concrete, keeping the need to perform costly and unsightly paving and concrete patches to a minimum, if at all.
Telephone Pole Line Installations
- We have extensive experience in the construction of pole lines throughout Southern Alberta
- Utilizing an assortment of Polecats and trailers, we can haul and install poles of any size.
- We stock standard telecom pole and hardware sizes to prevent delays for urgent installations.
Vault and Pedestal Installations
- We have the experience and equipment to install vaults and pedestals of any size.
- Utilizing our truck mounted crane units, we can complete installations in an efficient and safe manner, whether they are replacing existing, or new installations.
Conduit Roping Services
- We have extensive experience roping conduits, and an assortment of equipment to complete the project.
- For small conduit diameters, we have multiple lengths and sizes of fiberglass fish tapes, and for lengthy sections of conduits we have multiple compressor units capable of blowing twines incredibly long distances.
- For large diameter conduits we have multiple truck mounted vacuum units with an assortment of hoses and attachments.
- We stock multiple sizes and types of mule tape and twins for such projects.
Conduit and Manhole Repairs
- We are experienced in performing conduit repairs and have the experience and equipment to locate the damage point, perform the repairs, and rehab the excavation, whether it was done in a dirt, asphalt, or concrete surface.
- Manhole repairs, lid raising and lowering, lid replacements.
- We have experience working with concrete duct structures, new or existing.
